During December 1974 a great chance occurred to receive a cash Award and Certificate from Malayala Manorama for the best picture taken on the boat during photo journalism seminar with a valuable comments that " A Person From Kerala Was Able To Get It In Spite Of Fact That There Are Person Competing From All Over India"

Chithra Studio ie: "CHITHRA COLOR LAB" was started as a partnership firm with Sir. Kesava Iyer. The inauguration was on 16-01-1986 by cine star Sri. Mohan Lal and now it is functioning in a better way with full satisfaction of our customers.

During October 2004 in connection with the national film festival a very great chance to exhibit the out door scenes of our malayalam cine world. That was really one of the important attraction of the national film festival as reported by Malayala Manorma. Scenes from cini settings and technicians have been captured and about 300 nos. of rare photographs were exhibited. Really that exhibition was a historical journey through the history of malayalam cinema. After the national film festival the photographs ever handed over to Kerala chalachithra academy. Those are really a memmorable moments.
